Socceroo Mathew Leckie ended his seven-month wait for a Bundesliga goal with the second in Hertha Berlin's 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt overnight.
Leckie got in behind the Frankfurt defence and coolly converted past opposition keeper Lucas Hradecky in the 77th minute to make it 2-0.
"It feels so good to have finally found the net again," Leckie said. "Last week I came close but now the drought is over.
"I didn’t catch the ball properly in the first half when I passed it back and that was why we nearly went behind. Luckily we didn’t go behind otherwise we would have been in a very tough spot.
"We were disciplined, even in the hot weather and scored at the right time. Now we can go into the final three games with real confidence."
The strike was Leckie's fifth of the league season, having started the campaign brilliantly with his new club.
Leckie netted four goals in Hertha's first five Bundesliga games earlier in the season.
Elsewhere on Saturday, former 1860 Munich defender Milos Degenek scored a 57th minute equaliser in Yokohama F. Marinos' dramatic 4-4 draw with Shonan Bellmare in Japan's J.League.
