AUSTRALIAN striker Mathew Leckie has scored a hat-trick for Borussia Moenchengladbach in a 10-1 victory over Borussia Siebligisten in an end-of-season friendly in Hanau.
The former Adelaide United man, who made 11 first-team appearances in all competitions in his first season at Gladbach, played a full game in the end-of-season clash celebrating a campaign where the Foals finished fourth and qualified for Champions League playoffs.
Leckie, who put in a full shift, netted Gladbach's second goal on 27 minutes, converting a rebound after Yuki Otsu's good work.
The Australian added a second to make it 3-0 on 53 minutes, before bringing up the team's half dozen and his hat-trick on the hour mark.
