The 23-year-old and agent David Baldwin visited Celtic Park for discussions with club officials yesterday on their latest visit to Scotland.

The midfielder will now mull over a move to the Glasgow giants.

Ledley told the Daily Record: "It's not a done deal yet. Obviously I've got a lot to think about.

"I just came up for a look around but I've been very impressed. Will I be back? We'll see."

Meanwhile, Celtic's hopes of signing Sol Campbell appear to have suffered a blow following reports the veteran defender held talks with Sunderland yesterday.

Meanwhile, a second loan move for Robbie Keane also appears unlikely after Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp ruled out any further short-term deals.

He said: "I wouldn't think a loan's a possibility because we paid good money for him and to loan him out again, it wouldn't be a goer.

"If Robbie's not happy when the season starts and he's not playing we'll sit down and discuss it.

"And if he wants to move, someone will have to buy him but I'm hoping he comes back into the team and makes a real impact."
