Leicester City’s home kit for the 2019/20 Premier League season has been unveiled, with the Foxes adopting a subtle chequered pattern which has proven a winner with the fans.

Having been on the wrong end of a Vincent Kompany worldie in their midweek clash against Manchester City, Leicester have taken to Twitter to keep fans’ spirits high in the best way possible, releasing a 30-second video featuring current and former Leicester stars to unveil their new threads for 2019/20.

The royal blue adidas home kit has all the tell-tale signs of the German sportswear brand’s influence, with their trademark 3-stripes appearing in a gorgeous golden hue on the shoulders.

However, the main attraction of next year’s strip is more likely to be the subtle chequered pattern which envelopes the shirt’s front and shoulders.

A football kit design which could just about be trademarked by Croatia, adidas have managed to win-over the majority of Leicester fans, who are also pleased to see the return of white shorts after a four-year hiatus.

Whilst the updating of goalkeeper kits tends to be a much lower-profile formality, adidas ensured that Kasper Schmeichel wouldn’t be left out, with the Foxes’ Danish ‘keeper modelling black, yellow and white variations of his uniform for next season.
