ADRIAN Leijer boosted his chances of a January loan switch away from Fulham after heading in a goal to earn the reserves a point against Chelsea today.
The Olyroos defender nodded home from a Wayne Brown set piece to give the Cottagers the lead at Brentford's Griffin Park.
The Australian has yet to make the breakthrough into the Fulham first team under Roy Hodgson and the Cottagers may well look to loan Leijer out to gain first team football.
Reserve games are attended by as many scouts and rival managers as supporters so a goal should not have done the former Melbourne Victory man's chances of a temporary switch any harm.
Sadly for Leijer, his goal did not prove to be the winner with Chelsea levelling midway through the second half through a Miroslav Stoch penalty.
