The Glasgow giants are both still in with the chance of a clean sweep this season.

The Hoops` defeat by Motherwell on Sunday left them five points clear of the champions at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League although the Ibrox men have two games in hand.

The sides meet in the final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup final at Hampden on March 20 but tonight will see the treble dream come to an end for one of them but the Celtic boss said: "Nobody has talked about the treble.

"But we want to progress in every competition domestically because we went out of Europe early and I think we can.

"We have the players and squad to do that.

"This is a competition that we would dearly love to win and if it means playing Rangers at this stage that's what we will have to do.

"The priority has been the championship and that hasn't changed.

"But I'm greedy. I think we have the opportunity to progress in all of them."

Lennon believes his players may have had one eye on tonight`s game when they turned in a sub-standard display against Motherwell.

The former Celtic skipper is looking for his side to return to the sort of form which saw them go 17 games unbeaten before the trip to Lanarkshire.

"We are looking for a positive reaction," he said.

"The players didn't do themselves justice and they know that.

"The general feeling from them was that they had let themselves down so they will want to go out there and do better

"But they have been fantastic in the last couple of months so I won't be over critical."

Lennon admits he has considered the prospect of extra-time and penalties tonight and is confident he has the players who can step up to the mark.

"We have tried to go over every possible scenario," the Irishman said.

"We have good technicians who, we would like to think, would be confident to go and strike the ball."
