Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo says the big-spending club have not spoken to Cristiano Ronaldo or Jose Mourinho.
The French side were linked with an audacious bid to sign Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo and bring in coach Mourinho at the same time.
But Leonardo said no contact had been made with the Spanish giants or Ronaldo and Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes.
"We haven't met anyone," he said. "This is not the time to think about the transfer market.
"We are at the end of October, almost November, so it's not the time to think about the transfer market.
"Let's talk about the good things we did on the pitch so far. This is a key moment of the season."
PSG are three points clear on top of the Ligue 1 table, second in Group A of the Champions League and through to the quarter-finals of the French Cup.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti, who oversaw Thursday's 2-1 cup win against Marseille, refused to be drawn on the innuendo.
"I don't really know what to say, they are just rumours," he said.
"The players showed a good attitude against Marseille, especially the ones who didn't play so often at the beginning of the season.
"I saw a good quality, good attitude and a good physical condition. For all these reasons I'm really happy."
