It is the strongest indication yet that the Ligue 1 club are on the verge of completing the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from AC Milan.

PSG have agreed a double deal with Milan that has already seen Thiago Silva switch to the Parc des Princes, but are yet to agree personal terms with the Swedish international.

However, the 42-year-old director of football has now intimated that Ibrahimovic's proposed move to the French capital is imminent after working on the transfer throughout Monday.

"Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be an important day for Paris Saint-Germain," the Brazilian told Sky Sport24.

"Today we continued to work, but tomorrow (Tuesday) will be an important day ..."

Leonardo's comments have come just a day after Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, revealed that he was confident of thrashing out a deal with the Parisians.

The striker, who initially arrived at San Siro on loan from Barcelona in 2010, was the top scorer in Serie A last season, netting 28 times in 32 games.
