Lewandowski's Poland drew their opening game of Euro 2012 against Greece on Friday, with the front man notching the first goal of the match.

Greek substitute Dimitris Salpigidis equalised after half-time as the match ended 1-1.

And Lewandowski was keen to talk about the task at hand, rather the focus on transfer talk surrounding his future.

"I am so happy to score this goal in the opening match," he said.

"But I'm not going to concentrate on these issues (joining United). Euro 2012 is the priority. I'm totally focused on the national team."

Poland boss Franciszek Smuda revealed prior to the game that the striker is set to join United, which prompted the latest round of rumours that the 23-year-old could be set to meet up with former Dortmund team-mate Shinji Kagawa at Old Trafford next season.

But Lewandowski's agent stated last month that the forward would not force a move away from Signal Iduna Park, and that he would respect the wishes of his current employers.
