Defender Mauricio had put Olhanense ahead after 40 minutes, but Braga levelled through Mossoro four minutes after half-time and Lima then scored in the 55th and 62nd minutes to clinch the win.

The victory saw Braga climb to third place, above Olhanense and alongside second-placed Academica on 14 points but five points behind the pace set by fast-starting Porto, who also have a game in hand.

Academica were 2-1 winners against Nacional today, surging into an early two-goal lead thanks to Miguel Fidalgo, who opened the scoring after four minutes, and Markus Berger, who doubled the lead 12 minutes later.

They had Nuno Coelho sent off with 15 minutes remaining and Nacional, with an extra man, pulled a goal back through Danielson two minutes from the end.

Vitoria Setubal beat Guimaraes 2-1 in a match which followed a similar pattern.

Hugo Leal and Anderson do O put the home side two goals up in just 20 minutes, but the game became closer later on. Alex pulled a goal back for Guimaraes in the 72nd minute, and Vitoria had Ricardo Silva sent off with eight minutes remaining.

Pacos Ferreira and Beira Mar have drawn more matches than any other team this season, so it was not surprising when their head-to-head contest finished 1-1.

Baiano put Pacos Ferreira ahead in the 41st minute but Wilson Eduardo levelled in the 73rd minute for the visitors. Pacos Ferreira had Jorginho sent off eight minutes later but held on to parity, as the teams both drew for the fifth time in eight outings this season.
