A defeat at the Stade Velodrome for Elie Baup's men would have handed the title to leaders Paris Saint-Germain, but an Andre Ayew brace means PSG will need to win against Lyon to be crowned champions. 

At the bottom of the table, basement side Brest were edged out 2-0 by Sochaux with goals from Sloan Privat proving the difference, while Troyes picked up a surprise three points away at Ajaccio thanks to a 1-0 win.
A John Utaka goal for Montpellier wasn't enough for them as they went down 3-1 to Bastia, while Nancy did well to almost salvage a draw after having been two goals down to Bordeaux.
Goals from Andre Biyogo Poko and Henri Saivet just before half-time gave Bordeaux the lead, but relegation-threatened Nancy fought back well and levelled the match through Lossemy Karaboue and Salif Sane, initially giving their hopes of avoiding the drop a boost.
However, a late goal from Cheick Diabate won the game for Bordeaux.
The battle between 11th and 12th went the way of Valenciennes, despite Rennes taking the lead on the half hour mark.
Jonathan Pitroipa gave the visitors the lead at the Stade du Hainaut but goals from Maor Melikson, Lindsay Rose, Kenny Lala and Jose Saez ensured the home side took all three points.
