Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin has agreed a one-year loan deal with German side Hertha Berlin, the Anfield club have announced.
The Ukraine international signed for Liverpool on a Bosman free transfer last summer and scored six goals in 27 appearances.
However, the impact of Fernando Torres restricted his first-team opportunities and Robbie Keane's arrival this summer forced him further down the pecking order, prompting the forward to move back to the Bundesliga, where he previously played for Bayer Leverkusen, Cologne, Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hertha were delighted to solve their attacking crisis with the late signing of Voronin.
"We have worked very hard on this," general manager Dieter Hoeness told Berliner Morgenpost's website.
"We opted for Andriy because he knows the Bundesliga, he speaks German and he can play in a variety of different tactical systems.
"Andriy proved with Leverkusen and Liverpool that he can perform when under pressure. I am happy that we have found an experienced striker for our young team."
The Bundesliga club do not have to pay a fee for the deal but will take on full payment of Voronin's wages.
