Liverpool legends Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher along with current stars Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge have been named in the starting XI for tonight’s friendly against Sydney FC.
The Reds, who landed in Sydney on Wednesday morning barely 11 hours before kick-off, confirmed their XI on Twitter.
Only three players who started Sunday's final 3-0 Premier League fixture win against Middlesbrough will line up from the beginning against Sydney.
Defender Dejan Lovren along with Firmino and Sturridge are those three.
