EXCLUSIVE: All four of our local players competing at the Nike Chance trials in London have been selected in the final 32, with Luis Figo presenting them with their shirts at Wembley Stadium.
In a stunning result for Australia and New Zealand, the quartet will compete in Saturday's final day of selection in an 11 v 11 match at MK Dons' ground.
The four local players feature attacking midfielders Alon Blumgart and Tom Rogic, Kiwi defender Thomas Doyle and keeper Niko Matic.
Figo was special guest at the famous stadium where he presented the final 32 players after two days of trials for 100 of the best unsigned talent around the world.
They now have the chance to compete for eight full-time contracts at Nike's Academy in England starting later this year.
There the winners will have access to a professional training environment with high quality facilities and coaching.
The Chance is a global search for elite amateur players around the world giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent and give them a chance to make it as a professional player.
