Despite the Bayern Munich striker netting the only goal in Saturday's 1-0 win over Portugal, Loew is unsure whether he will name the same starting 11 for Germany's second Group B game.

"I don't always say 'never change a winning team'. It is possible that I will make some changes but I have not decided yet," he told reporters.

"I am always good for a surprise."

Many expected talisman Miroslav Klose to start on Saturday, however he had to be content with a substitute experience.

The veteran Lazio striker has been carrying an injury but Loew claimed the 34-year-old may yet return to the starting line-up.

"I am glad that Miro (Klose) is feeling better. When he is fit he is world class," Loew said.

"He is still missing a few things but he has progressed enough that he could start a match."

Germany sit joint top of their group with Denmark after both teams registered 1-0 wins against Portugal and Netherlands respectively.
