Catania striker Maxi Lopez is set to complete a permanent transfer to AC Milan later today, according to the Italian media.
The Argentina forward, who is also a reported target of Fulham, has been strongly linked with a move to the San Siro outfit since last month.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims Lopez's agent Andrea D'Amico as well as Catania and AC Milan executives are holding talks today at the Rossoneri's headquarters in Milan's Via Turati with a view to seal the deal.
Milan are looking to reinforce their attacking line with Italy striker Antonio Cassano ruled out indefinitely after undergoing a heart procedure last year.
The Italian champions failed in their attempt to sign Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez this month and have now turned their full attention on Lopez.
Lopez, 27, has scored three goals in 14 league appearances for Catania this season.
