AC Milan will sign Maxi Lopez on a permanent deal this summer, according to the player's agent.
The Argentina striker joined Milan on loan from Catania in January.
The Rossoneri have the opportunity to make the 28-year-old's stay at the San Siro permanent at the end of the season, and the player's agent, Andrea D'Amico, is confident the Italian champions will exercise that option .
"He will remain at Milan," D'Amico said to www.calciomercato.it.
"Maxi has proved in the limited minutes he has had on the pitch and in training, to be a great champion.
"He is strong, he has class, speed and executes well, something which is not easy to find."
Lopez has scored one goal in seven league appearances for Milan so far.
