The Independent Match Review Panel (MRP) has suspended Perth Glory head coach Kenny Lowe for two matches after he abused a match official “in or around the half time interval” during Friday night’s clash against Melbourne City.
He was subsequently expelled from the match before his side went on to win 3-2.
The MRP proposed a two match ban after meeting on Monday.
“The MRP determined Lowe committed the offence of use of offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures towards a match official,” the MRP said in a statement.
Lowe may refer the matter to the Independent Disciplinary Committee for hearing.
He has until 12:00pm Tuesday to advise whether he wishes to appeal.
