Perth coach Kenny Lowe says Glory's dramatic 3-3 draw with Melbourne City shows his side is united and together.
Perth went behind three times against City but fought back to keep evening the score up and eventually take home a point. The visitors to AAMI Park where inspired by goalkeeper Liam Reddy who made two outstanding penalty saves to keep them in the match.
Glory sit in sixth spot on the ladder and have only won three of their 12 fixtures so far this season. The club's attitude has been questioned but the controversial draw shows Perth has a united squad, according to Lowe.
The head coach believes Perth's problems lie in the fact that it hasn't fully dealt with the high expectations of success it faces every year.
"Everyone's good in our group, they're working hard and focused on doing the right thing for themselves and the team," Loew said.
"I guess when you see something like that you take heart from it because you believe it. But they're all together. We've had a really good two years, our problem is the expectation. Maybe we're not dealing with the expectation to well.
"Maybe after this, we've got another game in a few days time, if we come out the back of this we can kick on. It's a funny old league."
Lowe was pleased his team left Melbourne with a share of the spoils after an action-packed 90 minutes.
"It was a spectacle," he admitted.
It was one of the better games you'd wish to see, but obviously we're pleased to come away with a point. We worked ever so hard and we had a good attitude. It was a unique game. We've got to start charging for entertainment value.
"It's fair play to the players, they've showed a lot of endeavour and spirit."
Melbourne City were awarded three penalties and Lowe was confused over the decision of the second penalty awarded against Perth defender Marc Warren.
"I think the one with Dino he got fouled first," he said.
"I think the first one with Marc Warren, from where I was, it looked like a pen. The second one with Marc, I asked the linesman as the game was going on he said it was for tripping. But I don't know how he's tripped him as he's atcually moved the ball away with his thigh and fell over him.
"That was an interesting one. Hey look at the end of the day, Liam's got a few feathers in his cap off it."
