Glory boss Kenny Lowe revealed the news on Friday, with Grant struggling with a foot complaint and Lowry battling a quad injury.

Grant had been listed as two weeks away and Lowry one week off when the increasingly irrelevant squad lists were released on Thursday, but Lowe confirmed the true extent of the problems.

“Granty and Lowry are out for the season,” Lowe said.

“They won’t participate anymore.”

Nebojsa Marinkovic will return from injury for Saturday’s crunch clash away to Melbourne Victory although English fullback Joe Mills didn’t travel.

“We’ve scored eight goals in the last two away games, so that shows we’re doing something right,” Lowe said.

“If we can go there and get a really good result, it sets us up moving forward.”

Meanwhile, The West Australian is reporting Glory have signed Perth-raised right-back Scott Neville from Western Sydney Wanderers in a straight swap for outgoing Socceroo Josh Risdon.

It is being reported that out-of-contract Risdon, who has previously spoken about moving to Europe, will join Wanderers next season.
