URUGUAY captain Diego Lugano has warned Group A rivals France his team are at their peak heading into Friday's World Cup opener in Cape Town.
Oscar Tabarez's side are training in Kimberley ahead of their showdown against Les Bleus.
"We will arrive to the game against France in our best form," said Lugano.
"We will see how far we can go in the competition but we are calm because we have worked well in training and we are ready."
Uruguay also take on tournament hosts South Africa and Mexico in Group A.
"Our conscience is clear," said Lugano.
"We have done everything possible to arrive to this game in the best possible condition."
