Melbourne City star Luke Brattan looks to have suffered a serious injury during the FFA Cup clash against Brisbane Roar.
Brattan was prone and unmoving on the pitch for 45 minutes after what looked like an inonucous challenge.
Paramedics worked on the 28-year-old midfielder as they waited for the "right equipment to arrive" at Dolphin Stadium, according to Fox Sports.
A specialist ambulance was needed to transport the player to hospital.

There were fears of a serious spinal injury, but reports suggest the player has some feeling in his arms.
Melb City saying that Brattan had pins and needles sensation in his arms but believe the incident is not as serious as first thought, and he was taken to hospital in a precautionary measure. #FFACup
