Massimo Luongo could miss Australia's next World Cup qualifier with an ankle injury.
Luongo has sidelined since picking the injury up in Sheffield Wednesday's 1-0 win over Stoke City on October 26, when he scored the winner.
The Socceroos take on Jordan away from home on November 14.
Owls boss Garry Monk said on Monday: "We will see how Massimo is when we get back in."
But FTBL understands Luongo could be out for a few weeks more.
Luongo has been in impressive form for Wednesday in the past month, after his transfer from QPR.
The 27-year-old has already scored two goals in just eight appearances.
