Olyroos winger Awer Mabil has scored his first goal for new club Esbjerg against his parent club Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga overnight.
Mabil is on loan at Esbjerg for the 2016-17 season and reminded his parent club of his quality with the opening goal in a 3-1 defeat.
The 21-year-old produced a fine free-kick with a mixture of power and placement to put Esbjerg ahead on 24 minutes.

The former Adelaide United man was making just his second start for Esbjerg, where he's been used six times as a substitute.
Mabil was sent off on his Esbjerg debut in August and is desperate to impress having made only nine first-team appearances for Midtjylland last season.
Esbjerg remain bottom of the Superliga with one win from 14 games.
