Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander was taken to hospital for a precautionary brain scan just before his side's Coca-Cola League Two clash with Bournemouth.
The 51-year-old former Lincoln and Peterborough boss suffered a brain aneurysm in November 2003 and was taken to hospital an hour before kick-off after feeling unwell.
Silkmen chairman Mike Rance said: "It's purely precautionary but Keith wasn't feeling too well in midweek and he wasn't feeling that great before the game so we decided it was best to take the safest option."
