CLAUDE Makelele has revealed there is a 50-50 chance of him quitting football at the end of the season.
The former France midfielder joined Paris St Germain from Chelsea last summer and has been one of the inspirations behind the capital club's climb to third place in Ligue 1.
He has to decide this summer whether to prolong his stay at the Parc des Princes but he admits there is a possibility he could hang up his boots for good.
"I am going to finish the season and take some time to reflect," the 35-year-old told L'Equipe magazine.
"If my children say to me, 'Dad, quit!', I will quit. But my decision will also depend on my desire and circumstances.
"My chances of staying or quitting are 50-50."
