Real Mallorca have signed defender David Navarro on a one-season loan from Valencia, although he will not be able to play for his new club until mid-September due to his suspension.
The 27-year-old was handed a seven-month ban - later reduced to six - from all international and domestic matches by FIFA in March following his involvement in the brawl that marred Valencia's Champions League encounter with Internazionale.
Navarro, who was unveiled by Mallorca on Friday, is the Balearic Island club's fifth summer recruit after German Lux, Borja Valero, Pierre Webo and Francisco Molinero.
