The Champions have added a purple secondary colour to their colourway
In their first year with new kit manufacturer Puma, Manchester City has taken to social media to unveil their home and away strips for the 2019/20 season.
The reigning Premier League champions are celebrating their 125-year anniversary, with the achievement embroidered under the City badge on each of their new strips.

The home shirt is predominantly the same shade of sky blue as seen in previous seasons, but a new ‘grape’ shade of purple will feature as the jersey’s secondary colour.
This intriguing new colour is used for all detailing on the shirt, including front-of-shirt and sleeve sponsorships, Puma’s kit manufacturer logo and the solid stripe which runs across the top of the jersey’s shoulders.
A subtle, wave-like pattern covers the entirety of the shirt, whilst the word ‘City’ appears at the back of the neck, with white shorts and socks completing the home kit.
City’s more vibrant 2019/20 away strip takes inspiration from the energy of the Hacienda nightclub in Manchester.

Despite its black base, the shirt features highlights of sky blue, peach and yellow across the right cuff, left cuff and right shoulder respectively.
Etihad Airways’ front-of-shirt sponsorship appears in yellow, whilst peach is again used for the Puma logo on the right breast.
The away strip is finished off with black shorts and socks.
