Premier League giants Manchester City have released an eye-popping, limited-edition mashup kit in celebration of their six years with Nike.

In their final season with the sportswear brand, City’s freshly unveiled mashup jersey features elements of nine different kits worn by the reigning Premier League champions since Nike took over from Umbro at the beginning of the 13-14 season.

Included amongst the many featured kits is the 2013/14 third strip from City’s domestic double campaign, the 2017/18 home and away strips in which City steamrolled the league and the 2018/19 away shirt which has every chance of being associated with back-to-back Premier League titles, though Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool might have something to say about that.

Already available for pre-order, the limited-stock jersey is likely to be debuted during the pre-match warmups in City’s upcoming clash with practically-already-relegated Fulham at Craven Cottage.

One of City’s brightest stars, 18-year-old Phil Foden knows which of the nine featured kits he likes most:

“My personal favourite is the home shirt from last season, I made my debut wearing that so it means a lot to me.”

Promoting the commemorative strip further, Foden, who was born not far from Manchester, also spoke on the sentimental value that our favourite kits bring to us as supporters:

"It's great because the fans will be able to point out the jerseys and relive the memories created in them."

The 2019/20 season will mark the beginning of City's ten-year deal with Puma, reportedly worth a lazy £650 million. That's in excess of $1.2 billion AUD in case you were wondering.

Available from April 10, eager fans will have to wait to purchase the mashup from mancity.com/shop, whilst FIFA19’s Ultimate Team game mode will include the in-game counterpart around the same time.
