The Australian couple have certainly received a lot of attention
Australian E-Sports commentator, Nate Patrick has certainly had a whirlwind few days after his Twitter thread explaining his parents encounter with the Manchester United squad went viral.
The hilarious thread involved his parent's experience meeting Paul Pogba and the Manchester United team without knowing who arguably the most famous team in the world even were.

Since then the tweets have been seen around the world by footballers and pundits, with the likes of Gary Lineker sharing the story, while Nate has appeared on MUTV.

The club itself has now responded inviting Nate and his parents to see the Red Devils face off against Perth Glory during their pre-season tour of Australia.

Nate responded in a hilarious manner making sure that the stars of the tweets, his parents were on board with the idea.
Unfortunately I am currently unable to reach them. It is possible that they have gone for a stroll in the local park, and found a fluffy dog to take photos of.

The man at the centre of the hilarity, Paul Pogba, also responded referencing the dog that was certainly more famous to the Australian couple than the World Cup winner.

Finally, we all got what we were waiting for as Nate responded with a picture of the famous dog, and now we can all understand why his parents were more interested in the canine despite meeting a train full of football-superstars.

Manchester United head to Perth in July for their pre-season tour, where they will face Perth on the 13th and Leeds on the 17th.
