The Nerazzurri will be crowned Serie A champions for the third season in succession if they can beat Siena at the San Siro on Sunday afternoon.

Despite last weekend's missed chance after their 2-1 slip at AC Milan, which cut Inter's lead to three points at the top of the standings with two games remaining, the Nerazzurri could secure the Scudetto this weekend.

Mancini's side enjoyed a sizeable lead earlier this year but a recent drop in form saw them take just two points in three games shortly after their Champions League exit and allowed Roma to get back into the title race.

"In the past couple of weeks, I have always believed that this would be the crucial game," admitted Mancini. "I didn't think the one against Milan would be the one because I knew Roma would not lose points.

"I was convinced that we would have arrived with a three point advantage to the last two games and that's where we are right now.

"That was our aim, now we are here and I don't see any problems."

Inter managed to bounce back from last weekend's disappointment with a 2-0 midweek triumph at Lazio which allowed them to progress to the Coppa Italia final where they will face Roma.

The Nerazzurri club, who clinched their 15th Scudetto last season at Siena, will have plenty of support this weekend, with the San Siro sold out for the encounter against the Tuscan outfit.

Regardless of the result at the San Siro, a defeat for Roma, who take on Atalanta in the Italian capital, would also hand Inter the title thanks to the Nerazzurri's better head-to head record over the Giallorossi.

Siena, who have already assured themselves a place in Italy's top flight next season, make the journey to Milan in buoyant mood.

The Bianconeri have suffered only one defeat in the last eight games and last weekend's historic 1-0 triumph at Juventus saw them climb to 12th in the standings.

The Tuscan outfit will have the support of Roma fans, who will be hoping to get a favour from Siena, but Bianconero coach Mario Beretta has his own reasons for wanting a win.

"We have already defended our status," said Beretta. "But we still have something that we want to achieve before the end of the season.

"We would like to take at least two more points in our last two games in order to beat the club's Serie A record of 43 points in a given campaign.

"We will be calm and focused and despite what others say, we will not hand a favour to our opponents."

Siena will have all their players available with the exception of Valerio Bertotto, who is suspended.

Inter will still be without the team's top scorer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is struggling with a knee injury, while Luis Figo and Christian Chivu are also unavailable through injury.

The good news for Mancini is that midfielder Dejan Stankovic has shaken off a muscular problem and will be available.
