Chelsea signing Marko Marin believes his side's strength in depth can propel the west London side to domestic and European glory.
The German winger has also been impressed by Chelsea's more attacking outlook this season, with the likes of Oscar and Eden Hazard bought in the off-season.
"If you are to win the Premier League and Champions League, you need a lot of quality players," Marin told reporters after his brief cameo in the League Cup against Wolves.
"Chelsea have changed a lot since last season and now we have more attractive and offensive players.
"We hope that there are a lot of goals in this team because then it is more difficult for the other teams to play against us."
Marin also looked forward to Chelsea's English Premier League clash against Arsenal this weekend, with countrymen Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski lining up on the opposing team.
"I know Lukas from the national team and at the beginning it was all new to him but now he is doing well and has scored a few goals," Marin said.
"But we have a very good defence and Branislav (Ivanovic) will do very well at right-back. It will be hard for Lukas to play against him.
"Of course I am very confident (Chelsea can keep him quiet).
"I know Branislav very well, he is one of the best defenders in the Premier League. I am not scared about this."
