EXCLUSIVE: David D'Apuzzo will be the first A-League left-back to face the challenge of thwarting Sydney FC import Karol Kisel.
Sydney FC travel to face Sydney Tigers tomorrow night and although both sides are yet to name their respective squads, there is a strong possibility that one of the battles will be D'Apuzzo against Kisel.
D'Apuzzo's impressive performances for the Tigers at the start of last season (then known as Apia Leichhardt) earned him an A-League contract with Central Coast Mariners.
In a bid to keep his match sharpness, the youngster has rejoined his old club on a short-term basis and they are thrilled to have him back, even if it's just for six weeks.
The Tigers believe they let go a very good player and are now enjoying the (temporary) services of an even better one.
A club spokesman said: "It's great to have David back with us and he is looking even faster, sharper and stronger."
Wednesday's match at Lambert Park kicks off at 7.15pm. It will be Sydney FC's third pre-season hit out with two wins chalked up so far.
