W-LEAGUE WRAP AND MATCH PICTURES: Central Coast eased past Adelaide, while Victory moved into second place.

Central Coast Mariners posted the largest winning margin in the short history of the Westfield W-League as they thumping Adelaide United 6-0 this weekend.
The Mariners' Camilleri, Jenna Kingsley and Kyah Simon all scoring a brace each in the one-sided encounter.
"We’ve been saying it for the past few weeks, we’ve just needed the bounce of the ball to go our way and we’ll score a barrage of goals and that’s what happened today," said Mariners Head Coach Stephen Roche after the match. "I couldn’t fault any player out there for us, we controlled the game, our intensity and tempo was tremendous throughout and in the end we thoroughly deserved the result."
Elsewhere, Melbourne Victory moved up to second on the W-League table after beating Newcastle Jets 1-0 in an entertaining affair at Epping Soccer Stadium on Saturday night. The match-breaker came in the 82nd minute when Melbourne's Brittany Timko made the most of a Newcastle defensive blunder to put the ball in the back of the net.
Newcastle coach Gary Phillips was left to lament the poor defending which led to the only goal of the match. “I think we had three chances to clear it and if that happens at this level you're going to get punished," he said.
Honours were even in the capital as Canberra United drew 1-1 with Sydney FC in a thrilling and physical fixture.
Canberra United’s Caitlin Munoz put the home side on the board first with a rocket from 20 metres out which left Sydney’s keeper Nikola Dieter with no chance of getting a hand on it to the delight of the 840 in attendance.
It didn’t take long for Sydney FC to strike back when Canberra defender Rhian Davies took down Sydney’s Nicola Bolger from behind in the box in the shadows of half time. Jordan Marsh stepped up to the spot and calmly slotted the penalty past a Williams diving to her right hand side.
Canberra United’s head coach Robbie Hooker wasn’t pleased with the result but admitted it was a fair result.
“Not pleased, considering that was a game we needed to win to be in with a chance to get a home final,” Hooker said. “But just the way the game ended up panning out, I think a draw at the end of the day was probably a fair result.”
The fourth W-League fixture will take place today when Perth Glory host Queensland Roar at the Members Equity Stadium.
