Melbourne Victory veteran Mark Milligan is on the verge of a move back to the Middle East according to reports in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Professional League side Al Ahli are said to be in the final stages of negotiations for the 32 year old with his A-League club.

The move would mark a return to the Middle East for Milligan who has ping-ponged between A-League and Asian clubs for a decade.
He left Sydney FC in 2008 to try his luck overseas but was unable to find a club and returned to join Newcastle Jets before landing a deal with Shanghai Shenhua in China in 2009.
He joined JEF Chiba in Japan the folliowing year but returned to the A-League to join Melbourne Victory in 2012, initially on loan which was later converted into a permanent deal.
He left Victory in 2015 to join UAE side Baniyas based in Abu Dhabi, only to return to Victory again last year.
He had high hopes of playing in the EPL or Championship, with several clubs interested in signing him at various times over the past decade, but he was repeatedly denied his dream move by visa issues and the Socceroos poor international ranking.
