FFA recently announced a two-game friendly series between the Matildas and China to be played in Victoria in November.

Following the success of the two games against Brazil in September, FFA were keen to capitalise on the success of the women's national team.

The games against China are scheduled for Melbourne at AAMI Park on November 22, and at Simonds Stadium in Geelong on November 26.

However, November 22 was originally meant to be the date of the 2017 FFA Cup final.

But with the FFA keen to give the Matildas as much coverage as possible, the FFA Cup final has been moved to a day earlier, and will take place on Tuesday, November 21.

With South Melbourne, Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers and Adelaide United remaining in the competition, the venue for the final is still possible to be played in one of three states.
