EXCLUSIVE: A documentary about the Matildas is set to be shown in Australia this May.
The program chronicles the side in the lead up to the 2007 World Cup in China last September. At the tournament, the side reached the quarter finals and captured the imagination of the sporting public.
The doco is set to be aired on SBS TV around a week before the Women's Asian Cup which kicks off on May 28.
The Matildas however will be granted an advance screening of the program in April.
Meantime, after a 3-0 series victory over New Zealand last week, the Matildas still don't know where May's Asian Cup will be played. The tournament kicks off in just over 80 days.
