Juventus striker Alessandro Matri has received welcome news after suffering from chest pains during the 1-0 win over Inter Milan yesterday.
The 26-year-old underwent tests last night and results today have shown a slight muscle problem, but one that will only keep him out for around a week, rather than anything more sinister.
"The ultrasound showed a slight distortion of a small intercostal muscle, recoverable in a week," said a statement on the Juventus website.
Matri, who scored the winner yesterday to make it three goals in three games since joining on loan from Cagliari, played the full 90 minutes despite the problem.
