Barca visit Paris for the first leg of the quarter-final tie on Tuesday.

The Ligue 1 pace-setters recorded a hard-fought 1-0 victory over champions Montpellier on Friday, but the midfielder does not believe the intensity of that game will impact on their performance against the Catalan giants.

"It will be a very big game. We know that it will be very difficult, facing the best team in the world. We hope that everyone will be behind us. We will be at 150 percent," he told RMC.

"We hope that it will be a great game because it will give us the best chance of claiming a positive result."

The former Saint-Etienne star acknowledged the large number of Spain stars in the Barca squad - many of whom he faced on international duty with France last week - but urged his colleagues not to underestimate their other stars.

"There will be plenty of Spain internationals, it's true. But they still have other players like (Lionel) Messi, Dani Alves and (Javier) Mascherano - all of whom are top-notch players," he said.

"We will play to our strengths and we will try to thwart them to the maximum."
