SOCCEROO Scott McDonald made it three goals in six games with the opener in Middlesbrough's 2-1 away defeat to Doncaster Rovers in England's Championship overnight.
McDonald struck his sixth goal for the campaign in the fourth minute, firing into the bottom corner from 12 yards after Marvin Emnes set him up.
But the Australian international's strike wasn't enough for Boro, who saw James Hayter level on 22 minutes before Brian Stock's late winner.
The result continues Middlesbrough's awful away form this term as they remain entrenched in a relegation battle down in 21st.
