SCOTT McDonald helped tee up one of his side's goals as Celtic enjoyed a 2-0 pre-season victory at Southampton.
Goals in each half from Chris Killen and Barry Robson proved decisive in Claus Lundekvam's testimonial.
Killen gave the Scottish Premier League champions a 26th-minute lead when he finished low, left-footed, following good work by Scott McDonald.
And Barry Robson doubled the advantage emphatically from the penalty spot in the 67th minute after Georgios Samaras - who earlier this week sealed a permanent move from Manchester City - had been brought down in the box by Andrew Surman.
Samaras went close to a third goal before former Saints favourite Matthew Le Tissier came on in the 76th minute, to the delight of the majority of the crowd of 18,664.
