Scotland boss Alex McLeish has warned his players that Georgia are confident of causing an upset at Hampden on Saturday.
McLeish goes into his first game in charge with his team top of their Euro 2008 qualifying group.
The Georgians have lost three of their first four games but there is no danger of McLeish taking them lightly.
He told Sky Sports News: "The reception has been fantastic. We know that the goodwill goes as far as the performances, and if we put on a good performance and get three points and get us off to a flyer it will be terrific, but Georgia are a dangerous team.
"We know they have been making noises over there, my sources who have been in Georgia recently tell me that they fancy their chances, so we need to make our players very aware of that."
The Scotland manager reiterated he would be happy to gain four points from his first two games, with the Scots travelling to Bari to face Italy next Wednesday.
"I would be delirious," he claimed.
"If you said that was going to be the case I would bite your hand off, absolutely."
McLeish left the first training session to his fellow coaches Andy Watson and Roy Aitken, but he was relieved that none of his 26-man squad have pulled out.
"The players started training today, Andy and Roy took that. Everybody is raring to go," McLeish said.
"Nobody from the final selection called off thankfully.
"There are one or two niggles, Scott Brown had a sore Achilles but I believe he trained.
"Nigel Quashie has not played for a couple of weeks with stitches in an ankle wound.
"Graeme Murty had a little niggle which is the principal reason for the guys being here showing off the new gear.
"It's brilliant commitment from Nigel Quashie. We have a few players in midfield to choose from.
"He is certainly in our thoughts but there are others there and we won't make a final selection until later in the week when we have assessed them in training."
The former Rangers boss was speaking at a gathering of Scotland fans today in Glasgow for the launch of a new away kit.
