Away trips, social media love, constant support, she's a diehard.
Diehard Wellington Phoenix fan Stephanie Evett won the club’s Garage Project Fan of the Year at last week’s end-of-season awards night.
Stephanie was completely surprised by the award and had the crowd in stitches during her acceptance.
She’s known by all the players, always attending post-game functions and providing positive support both there and on social media, win, lose or draw.

“I love it that all the players know who I am and will say ‘hi’ no matter where they see me,” she told FTBL.
She also made trips to watch the Phoenix in the 4-3 loss to Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium in Round 27, along with journeys to watch them away to Central Coast and Melbourne City the season prior.
It all started seven years ago, when she randomly attended a Phoenix game with her family and immediately was hooked.
“When I got there I just fell in love with the team and then at the end of the game I was like to my family ‘we need to go to all the other games of the season’,” she said.
“From the next season we got Phoenix memberships.”
She was quizzed on the awards night as to who her favourite player is, answering back-up goalkeeper Lewis Italiano, pictured below with her.
