Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Javier Hernandez were on target as Mexico posted a 2-1 win over fellow World Cup finalists North Korea in Torreon.
Blanco fired the hosts into the lead from a free-kick after 51 minutes of the friendly encounter before Choe Kum-chol levelled for the Koreans six minutes later.
Hernandez popped up with the winner in the 69th minute to extend Mexico's unbeaten run in 2010 following convincing victories over Bolivia and New Zealand.
Mexico have been drawn in World Cup Group A alongside hosts South Africa, France and Uruguay, while the North Koreans will contest Group G against Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast.
