BELGIUM'S Simon Mignolet believes England can win a major tournament, partly because Joe Hart is the best goalkeeper at Euro 2012.
The two sides meet at Wembley on Saturday as England prepare to head to the European Championships.
Mignolet said England's performance in their opening matches will decide their fate in the rest of the tournament.
"It's going to be difficult for the first couple of games, but I think England can grow and win a tournament," Mignolet said.
"So if they manage to get through the first couple of games with some good results then they can go far in the tournament as well."
England will be without Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard for the European Championships after he was ruled out with a thigh injury.
Lampard joins Manchester City's Gareth Barry on the sidelines and is replaced by Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson.
England captain Steven Gerrard said the loss of Lampard was a huge blow.
"First and foremost it's a huge blow that Frank's (Lampard) got to go home especially on the back of losing Gareth Barry as well," Gerrard said.
"As players when you go out to train and play, you've got to give it 100 per cent.
"You can't afford to ease back or relax because sometimes you can pick up injuries if you approach it that way.
"So training today was very high tempo and physical, as normal and we've all come through.
"So fingers crossed the squad can stay in good condition now."
