AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has revealed his unhappiness at former coach Carlo Ancelotti's tactics last season.
Milan failed to win a trophy for the second straight year and also finished third in the Serie A table, 10 points behind champions Inter Milan.
"Milan this year has not played the tactical game that I suggested," Berlusconi said.
"We've had champions like Ronaldinho who played in a given game the last 20 minutes and this has also caused a psychological drop in the players."
Ancelotti signed for Chelsea earlier this week after eight years at AC Milan and has been replaced by former Rossoneri and Brazil star Leonardo.
Milan were eliminated early from the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia.
