AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits that crisis is an apt word to describe the predicament of the European champions.
The Rossoneri already lie 10 points behind champions and city rivals Internazionale who lead the Serie A table.
Galliani, speaking 24 hours after a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Empoli, said: "There are problems and they will be resolved. You can talk about a crisis if you want to. But there is no chaos at Milan.
"What we need is to find the right solution when we play against teams that like to keep it tight."
Galliani, who has day-to-day control of the club owned by Silvio Berlusconi, played down any injury worries about Brazilian playmaker Kaka but was more concerned about Czech wing-back Marek Jankulovski.
He told www.acmilan.com: "Kaka's knee is OK - it's Jankulovski's that is worrying us. He hurt himself against Empoli and needs a scan."
