AC Milan have expressed their "solidarity and affection" towards Silvio Berlusconi following yesterday's attack on the club owner.
The Italian prime minister is recovering at San Raffaele hospital after being hit in the face by a statuette thrown at him during a political rally in Milan.
Berlusconi suffered a fractured nose, two broken teeth and a lip injury.
A statement from the club read: "There's just one voice from Milan and all the Milan fans: solidarity and affection towards president Berlusconi."
The 73-year-old was kept under observation in hospital last night and will need up to 15 days to recover.
