The Rossoneri have endured a dismal start to the season having won only two of their seven Serie A games, while they are also struggling in their defence of their Champions League title after losing 2-1 at Celtic last week.

"When the transfer market opens, we would have already made our first signing, Pato," said Galliani on the club's official website, www.acmilan.com.

"He will be our only acquisition, no-one else will come."

The Rossoneri signed Brazilian forward Pato to a five-year contract back in August but the 18-year-old is not eligible to play for Milan until January 2008.

Galliani also denied rumours that they may acquire a goalkeeper in January.

Milan's number one Dida will find out on Thursday whether he is to face punishment from UEFA for his reaction to being struck by a Celtic fan at Parkhead.

"Regarding the goalkeepers, we already have three goalkeepers in-house and another three goalkeepers on loan. We are completely covered in that position."
