James Milner was sent off against Crystal Palace this past weekend by his former PE teacher Jon Moss who also coached his youth football team.

Images have emerged on Twitter of James Milner's youth team at Westbrook Lane Primary School, with Jon Moss by their side.

The picture shows a baby-faced Milner sitting front and centre as the captain of his football team, with Moss by the side of the young team.

The 33-year-old Liverpool player received his marching orders late in the fixture after a second yellow card for a foul on Wilfried Zaha.

Surely familiar with being on the end of discipline from his former teacher, Milner had already begun walking towards the tunnel after his foul on Zaha, expecting a second yellow.

The game finished 4-3 in favour of the Premier League leaders, however, Milner is set to miss Liverpool's match-up with Leicester City.

Both Moss and Milner have progressed to the top of their game after beginning their respective careers in Leeds, with Moss being promoted to the Premier League in 2011.
